Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administrative responsibilities of the credit & accounts receivable departments

  • Assist the credit department in its goal to lower the DSO scoreSupport team member with external customer online submission of invoices

  • Process credit applications

  • Collection of past due accounts if needed

  • Process sales tax exemptions as needed

  • Prepare and analyze reports for Credit Department

  • Assist with the processing of credit card transactions

  • Provide assistance to Branch personnelAssist customers with account issues

  • Assist support team with distribution of outgoing and incoming daily mail

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Serve as administrator for customer portal

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent required

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3 plus years of relatable experience is preferred

Functional/Technical:

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Proficient PC use: keyboarding, email, MS Word & Excel—able to create and maintain documents as well as assist others in the use of Word & Excel

  • Ability to learn new computer programs quickly

  • Organizational and time management skill

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment

Teamwork:

  • Excellent communication skills (active listening, writing, speaking & telephone)

  • Demonstrated ability to work through conflict

  • Demonstrated ability to develop & maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and co-workers

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, expedite and follow through to project completion

  • Demonstrated effective problem solving skills

  • Ability to positively react to change in environment, process and people
