PRODUCT SYSTEMS VALIDATION TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
We are looking for a talented PRODUCT SYSTEMS VALIDATION TECHNICAL SPECIALIST to join our team specializing in ENGINEERING for our NEW POWER BUSINESS UNIT in WEST SACRAMENTO, CA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Define DVP&R based on system, subsystems, and components DFMEA's, technical profiles, and learnings from previous product development.
Lead the execution of DVP&R tasks in a test cell and on vehicles with other teams.
Analyze the data from validation tests and propose the recommended problem solutions.
Report DVP&R status to the program team and track/document into the system’s database.
Develops product systems validation plans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes, while managing product risk and relative priority.
Uses appropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
5 years of related professional experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related focus.
Experience in the automotive industry is required.
Automotive product validation experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
