This is an exciting opportunity in Stoughton, Wisconsin for a 2 nd Shift Test Technician .

Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.

Qualifications and Competencies

Required : Minimum High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) with Department of Labor Certification

Preferred :

  • Associate’s or Technical degree from an accredited program or higher

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent

  • Mechanical aptitude

Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience from higher education and/or employment in related field (internship or co-op acceptable)

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

Performs laboratory testing and, plays an active role in the calibration, upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment

  • Performs testing in accordance with established test procedures and methodology

  • Consistently provides accurate and reliable test results

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the functioning of test equipment used to perform tests and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of test results

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the functioning of the product under test to assess the contribution of the product to the validity of the test results

  • Evaluates test results and generates test reports that meet the needs of the customer, including graphical representation of data and historical evaluation and assessment of test results

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Minimum High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) with Department of Labor Certification

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
