This is an exciting opportunity for IT Applications Analyst - Senior #MN160 in Shoreview, Minnesota
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions.
Analyze and evaluate application functionality including change management, BOM Managements, CAD and ERP Interface and provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business process and capabilities.
Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications.
Configure and verify application setup and configuration.
Develop expertise in emerging application and solution trends and recommend solutions to improve functionality gaps in the application.
Work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve PLM functionality issues.
Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs.
Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support.
Create and define the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models, and documentation in order to build solutions that meet buildability, business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Requirements Analysis and Solution Functional Fit Analysis to study how well component parts have been designed, purchased and configured.
Configure, create and test solutions for commercial off-the-shelf applications.
Validate a configuration item change or solutions using Systems Analysis including AS-IS and TO-BE PLM, including SDLC standards, tools and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meet user requirements.
Create and manage functional specifications using Waterfall/Agile Scrum Process for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.
Skills and Experience Required:
Evaluate application functionality including change management, BOM Managements, CAD and ERP Interface
Resolve PLM functionality issues
Define application functional designs
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Requirements Analysis
Systems Analysis including AS-IS and TO-BE PLM
SDLC standards, tools and metrics
Create functional specifications using Waterfall/Agile Scrum Process
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require a Master’s degree inInformation Systems or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related fieldand2 years of experience as a Computer or IT Analyst or Consultant, or related position.
Alternatively, the employer will accept aBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Computer or IT Analyst or Consultant, or related position.
JOB SITE: Shoreview, Minnesota
WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
