We are looking for a talented Quality Non-Conforming Specialist to join our team for our location in Seymour, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
Separates products that do not meet the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment.
Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.
Use measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming product and documentation.
Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company

Monitor inventory control using specified databases.
Creates employment contracts as required by local law or practice.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
Measurement Science - Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, “Metrology” e.g. Chemical, Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical and Radiation and Physical.
Laboratory Management - Leads technical resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measure to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met.
Quality Process Management - Applies and manages methods (e.g. SPC, Capability studies, Layered Process Audit, inspection, test) to ensure quality of Cummins products, processes, and services.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain PIV license.
Ability to work schedule – 1st Shift. Some mandatory and volunteer overtime available.
Pay starting at $17.75 .75/hour for special assignment.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
