Job Summary

The Cummins Sales and Services branch in San Leandro, California , is looking for an experienced Customer Support Representative . The support representative is responsible for receipt and processing of subscription-based services throughout the Cummins Pacific Region as well as provide maintenance for the Cummins Information Systems (Quickserve Online).

  • Engages with the customer either in person, over the telephone or e mail

  • Processes inbound requests for subscription-based renewals

  • Data entry of all necessary customer information into multiple databases

  • Instruct customers on the use of various subscriptions and forms

  • Train on our latest products

  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures at all times

  • Performs other administrative and or Customer Service related duties as may be assigned to me business needs.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to work and communicate well with customers and co-workers

  • Demonstrated commitment to creative thinking for continuous improvement

  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, expedite and follow through to task completion

  • Demonstrated ability to positively react to change in environment, processes and people

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Suite

Education and Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 1 - 3 years customer service experience required

  • BMS knowledge desirable

  • Knowledge of Cummins supporting technology preferred (Insite, Quickserve Online)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
