$5,000.00 Sign-on bonus with 2-year commitment
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Fully capable Electrician - to be able to demonstrate all skills as per skill matrix.
Make necessary/required repairs with a focus on RTFT (Right the First Time) and demonstrate quality workmanship
Provide detailed, clear and accurate data via Maximo i.e. downtime, information, labor etc..
Play active role in defined maintenance processes and contribute to make it better (Ex- PM review/Revision etc.)
Actively auditing in skill assessment for self and others to identify skills gaps and implement improvement plans (able to say "I don't know that skill" and "here is how I plan to get it").
Utilize idle time (when not on calls) in productive manner to support (i.e. spend idle time in rebuild, training, PM review/revision, 5S, line audits, predictive maintenance etc...)
Lead, plan and execute projects. Transfer learning to others. Involved in controls related projects
Work in multi craft capacity as designated by business needs.
Execute maintenance activities asper work plan & Lead assigned star point leadership
Lead / prepare A3: Respective shift is responsible for doing an A3 for downtime as agreed upon by businesses.
Actively participate and contribute in team / turnover / improvement meetings.
Committed to standard and hold self and others accountable i.e. follow team guidelines, team standards, TPM Setc..
Weekend/Shutdown planning: Actively participate in planning & update the status prior to wrap up meeting.
Troubleshoot and perform all required maintenance on equipment.
Actively participate in the Skills Trade Training Program for continuing skills improvement. Must be able to train and transfer skills to other apprentices and/or journeyman in department.
Follow all RMEP safety practices and procedures
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
Utilize Maximo CMMS to record and track work activities
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting
2 Year degree or secondary education in the mechanical or electrical field or a combination of education and experience.
Experience in performing mechanical and electrical tasks on manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance
Experience in providing production support for operations.
Experience with Microsoft Suite
Capability to work overtime as needed.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
