Facilities Engineering Associate

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
As a team member you will support dept. members in event of absenteeism, provide Work in Process assistance, attend all Employee meetings, oversee and scribe for team meetings and complete 2 improvement projects per year.
Coordinates facilities changes and improvements; maintains relationships with various suppliers and vendors of services provided to the facility; communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants.
Partners with customers, facilities, contractors and others to provide project management, design, quotes, scheduling, and coordination for facility-related projects.
Coordinates with facilities management to schedule work and special projects for the assigned facility.
Communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants.
Conducts with developing, documenting, and reporting budgets for approval process; creates and writes purchase orders; approves payment of invoices..
Coordinates installation of communications equipment with internal and external suppliers and customers.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Microsoft Office - A basic proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook are required for this position. Training will be provided to obtain an intermediate level of proficiency.
2 years of facilities maintenace / engineering knowledge Mechanical aptitude
In order to maintain a 1.2 Million Square Foot Facility, it is necessary to work some holidays and weekends for projects and safety related emergencies.
Schedule is 7am - 4pm M-F $18-$24.50 hourly depending on experience -
10% - Daily and Monthly Facility Audits
10% - Skills Learning (RMEP - History, Drawings and Standards)
10% - Training (Supply Chain Academy, PEO process, Safety, Ariba, Project Management)
30% - Small and Medium Projects
40% - Facilities Engineering Support (Attend daily construction safety meetings, Assist Facilities Engineers, COT Leadership Team, C&W Services, Contractors and our Customers– Everyone in the plant)
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
