Cummins Sales and Service Portland is looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to handle client-facing duties as well as administrative and office management support. When our customers and stakeholders walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and poise.
Answers, screens and directs incoming customer calls with poise and professionalism.
Greets and direct visitors entering the organization.
Maintains security and issues visitor badges, ensure escorting procedures are followed.
Receives, sorts and directs incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Identify, order and manage supplies for corporate office.
Maintains safe and clean reception area.
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
Responsible for employee engagement activities with a flair for creativity
Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Products; including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; works well in groups in problem-solving situations; remains poised in adverse situations and executes conflict resolution with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Self-directed; ability to work with minimal supervision in an unstructured environment.
Ability to interact professionally with customers and stakeholders at all times.
Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
Education, Training and/or Experience:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as receptionist or administrative assistant.
Two-year college degree preferred
High school diploma is required
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
