We are looking for a talented Team Lead to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.

  • Monitor the performance and output of the team and assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.

  • Ensures team members are using and following process documentation where applicable as part of operator training and defect investigation.

  • First responder to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety issues.

  • Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.

  • Ensures on the job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed, and documented.

  • Assists management in creating and keeping a team which is focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

  • Help to coordinate different Salvage line to meet production with safety and quality.

  • Work close with trainers to be ensure all the information is filled on time and train is provided to new operators.

  • Performance Prevent maintenance in different salvage lines.

  • Work with different support areas to implement new process and change at salvage lines.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
