This is an exciting opportunity in New Hudson, MI for a Sr. Technical Trainer – Power Generator.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Monitorsclass fill rate and works directly with branch managers and end-users tomaximize full seat utilization.
Assistwith developing additional management tools and other skillsets for the purposeof continuous improvement.
Assistwith developing safety standards and provides input to various safety policiesand procedures.
Monitorsbranch gaps through the utilizations of WWSPS, CST and other identified tools.
Develop expertise through train the trainer sessionsand maintain up-to-date training materials.
Evaluates training with participant feedback and fieldperformance.
Maintains technical training records and report servicecapability.
Customize and modify technical training programs andpresentations as required.
Providescertifications for successful completion of each class.
Training Delivery - Proven capability in demonstratingeffective presentation and facilitation skills by adapting content tolearner needs.
Communication - Written & Verbal - Significantexperience in written and verbal communication and should be capable ofcommunicating effectively to all levels within and outside the company.
Time Management - Consistently demonstrates effectiveand efficient use of individual and organizational time to achieve keybusiness objects. Models behaviors to others.
Attention to Details - Consistently demonstratesability to work in a thorough and detailed manner. Provides accurate,consistent information on all documents. Achieves thoroughness andaccuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areasinvolved. Can model/coach this skill to others.
Service Product Knowledge - General knowledge of allproducts in all regions. Deep knowledge of one product line, someknowledge of multiple product lines. Able to apply product knowledgeeffectively to a wide variety of situations. Deep knowledge of all ownedsub-systems, some knowledge of other sub-systems.
Decision Making - Demonstrates process of selecting alogical choice from the available options. Ability to used decision makingtools.
Initiative - Demonstrates ownership for starting andcompleting tasks in a timely manner. Identifies and takes ownership ofproblems encountered and suggests solutions. Pursues work with energy,drive, and effort to accomplish tasks.

Required Education, Experience,Licenses or Certifications:
Associate’s degree in a technical field or relevant power generator experience is required.
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in BusinessAdministration, Engineering or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working onCummins Power Generator products is required.
Ability to establish and maintain credibility as aninstructor.
Working knowledge of various Cummins service softwarepreferred.
Currentproduct certifications are desired.
Capableof attending factory level qualification courses as needed.
Travelrequired (up to 25%) to support specific - planned training request or otherinitiatives designed to grow service capabilities.
Experiencewith common workplace software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Advanced ability to read and interpret mechanicaldrawings and electrical schematics.
Must comply with safety rules and regulations and applythem to daily work routines.
Must be highly organized and able to handle a varietyof duties with limited time frames.
A valid driver's license is required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary commensurate with experience.
