This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee for a Supplier Payments Supervisor. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of an accounts payable team.

  • Supervises a group of accounts payable clerks within the established accounting policies of the corporation.

  • Monitors records of amounts owed and assures prompt payment of invoices.

  • Recommends changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable unit.

  • Coaches and mentors accounts payable clerks; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, including some supervisory experience.

  • Experience with Oracle.

  • Manages a team of analysts that respond to customer service emails.

  • Provide metrics for Supplier Payments team and improve Pay On Time metric. Manage analysis of the unvouchered receipt report monthly.

  • Participate and or lead other projects as directed by leadership.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Qualifications

Experience:
