Engineering IT / PLM - Lead Analyst
We are looking for a talented Engineering IT/PLM - Lead Analys t to join our team specializing in Information Technology for our Cummins Filtration in Nashville, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead, identify and implement applications to meet our product engineering team’s needs in collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams
Contribute to our business’s transformation to cloud-first strategy including the adoption of DevSecOps and Scaled Agile principles
Deliver solution design, adhering to standards and leveraging re-use of components.
Assist technical and infrastructure groups in understanding the solution design and specifications.
Provide application or infrastructure technical expertise, analysis and specifications for IT systems in accordance with IT architecture policies and standards.
Translate requirements into technical specifications, create solution design, configuration and testing of IT systems.
Create and manage technical specifications from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the application, infrastructure or complete solution.
Ensure adherence to obtain efficiency in the build and deploy processes, leveraging automation where possible.
Analyze and revise existing systems and documentation to identify remediation or improvements in the application or infrastructure solution.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Skills to analyze, design, test, implement and support of processes related to the Product Engineering Function.
Must be able to analyze and understand engineering processes, the information flow within those processes, and identify potential improvement areas, and how we can use technology and tools to drive improvements.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is required. PTC Windchill experience is preferred.
Experience with Engineering Function software such as Lab Information Management Software (LIMS), CAD, Ansys etc. is preferred.
Experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific Sample Manager LIMS is a plus.
Experience with R, R Studio Connect and Python is a plus.
Experience in effectively communicating with remote users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
Experience with integrations and knowledge of integration patterns is preferred.
Experience with Scaled Agile methodology and DevSecOps is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
