This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, TN for a Disability Specialist. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Process claim approvals from the vendor and calculating appropriate payment of disability pay meeting payroll deadlines.

  • Interact with employees as well as the HR community to provide information in response to inquiries about the claims process within establish deadlines.Inquiries may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both.

  • Accurately calculate percentages of pay and enter information into reports.

  • Accurately document and confidentially record customer/client information.

  • Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Products.

Experience

  • Customer service experience is required.

  • Insurance/benefits knowledge is preferred.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
