Description

  • Work collaboratively with management and HRIS teams to determine organizational goals.

  • Work collaboratively across all Health & Welfare functions to locate and define new process improvement opportunities and create internal controls to mitigate risks in all H&W areas.

  • Collaborate with functional users to review administrative and auditing processes of various systems and provide support to all associate activities.

  • Evaluate all internal process outcomes and perform audits on same to determine if administrative processes are sound and to ensure integrity of all systems and system data.

  • Export regular and ad hoc reports from our internal databases to conduct audits of benefit enrollments, HRIS data, and billing data.

  • Import data from various external data sources to bring meaningful insights to business performance.

  • Sort and examine large, pre-existing databases and data sets to classify patterns and establish relationships through data mining.

  • Profile data and assess the impact of poor quality data on all H&W areas’ performance.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets that help in boosting business performance.

  • Create data visualizations to effectively convey findings to management that helps in the decision-making process.

  • Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Collect, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Assist in preparing various project related functional requirements and documents for system enhancements if required.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Advanced written and oral communication skills are necessary

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work effectively, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is needed

  • Ability to research and analyze various types of HR data with an attention to detail is needed

  • Analytical and Creative thinking skills are required

  • Large-set data mining and auditing skills are needed

  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel, database, presentation, and word processing software skills are needed

  • Hands-on HRIS (Oracle) and Payroll (ADP) software experience

  • Basic accounting and reconciliation knowledge is needed

  • Basic statistical knowledge desired, but not required

  • SQL or VBA experience desired, but not required

Education

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent experience
