This is an exciting opportunity in Nashville, TN for an AP Analyst. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Reply tovendor and internal inquiries regarding invoice and payment status in a smallcall center type atmosphere.

  • Answer vendorand internal calls regarding Supplier Payments activity.

  • Develop anin-depth understanding of Cummins Supplier Payments.

  • Maintain theagreed SLAs.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

Skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time

  • Proficiency of at least basic knowledge in Excel

  • General accounting and accounts payable experience.Understand the overall AP process.

  • Able to apply skills and knowledge the processes.

  • Strong customer service skills on the phone and in email correspondences.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

  • Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting

Experience and Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required or 6 months AP experience in an AP Shared Service environment

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
