This is an exciting opportunity in Mineral Points, Wisconsin for a Customer Order Management (COM) Rep.
Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.
This position is responsible for managing the delivery flow and the associated needs of sister plants, distributors and other Emission Solutions internal customers. As the primary liaison, this role will ensure that CES maintains a high level of customer service while protecting the interest of CES operations and overall business objectives. The representative will maintain accurate, reliable processes and communicates these processes both internally and externally.
This individual will have primary decision-making responsibility associated with daily order management for internal CES operations. Daily functions can include, but are not limited to order maintenance, transportation coordination, and daily communication with customers. The ability to work cross-functionally within the Cummins organization is also critical to this role.
§ Facility problem resolution between customers and plants
§ Track, report and elevate customer issues
§ Manage order flows for assigned customers
§ Help to coordinate, schedule and facilitate new orders and order changes
§ Oversee and coordinate daily shipments to ensure on-time delivery
§ Proactively work to protect the customer from production variances
§ Coordinate changes to the planned ship schedule with customers that may result from production disruption, material shortage etc.
§ Support new product introductions and customer requested application changes
§ Identify and help implement process and system improvements
§ Facilitate setup of new customers within order management system
§ Participate in the establishment and execution of COM functional excellence
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
