We are looking for a talented OEM Customer Integrator - ROT to join our team specializing in SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Jamestown, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under minimal supervision and in accordance with Cummins Delegation of Authority, be the primary point of contact for Customer Order Management and OEM Account Managers, to reduce customer back-order dollars and aging days.

  • Build on the Customer Experience the OEM’s receive from Cummins and act as a liaison between Materials and COM

  • Collaboration with Customer Order Management counterpart to escalate requests on back-order parts, in effort to minimize the number of emails/teams messages to Materials.

  • To be the expert for the Materials issues, fluent in all OEM issues, and account specific requirements.

  • Utilize Xelus and GOMS to obtain part updates, in transit information prior to escalating to Materials planer.

  • Works with Material Planners to obtain updates on back ordered parts (recovery time, Supplier Root Cause for delay, actions being taken to resolve backorder).

  • Hosts/participates in conference calls with Customer Order Management, Account Manager and Customer on weekly/biweekly basis.

  • Prepare data in Excel and Power Point presentations regarding assigned account KPIs (Back-order dollars, First Pass Fill, First Allocation Fill, updates on aging parts)

  • Participates in Customer visits when required.

  • Follows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.

  • Confirms Planners are initiating No Source Cases as needed on parts and escalating when needed.

  • Ensure weekly shared files are updated with Top 20 Aging parts updates.

  • Translate Materials information and feed it back to Customers/COM in “customer friendly” way.

  • Utilize 4 Wall Inventory report to find excess inventory that could be brought back to fill backorders.

  • Communicates effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams.

  • Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements and career goals.

  • Participates in improvement projects

  • ​Materials Planning System Utilization - Uses the materials planning system to obtain updates; occasionally refers to ad hoc tools such as Excel, TOAD, GOMS, MSBI, etc. in performing problem solving, while leveraging the materials planning system as the primary tool in day-to-day operations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

Participates in improvement (quality, safety, process, material flow, etc.) projects

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
