We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
-Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
-Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
-Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
-Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
-Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
-Maintain own tools.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
(Entry):
-Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics.
-Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
(Intermediate):
-Completes complex internal engine repairs.
-Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision.
(Advanced):
-Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools.
-Larger more complicated engine rebuilds.
-Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
-Seeking Intermediate and/or Advanced Technician with Internal Engine experience including overhauls.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. This position will require a completed DMV driving report but no Driver Qualification file. CANDIDATE MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND HAVE 2 YEARS DRIVING EXPERIENCE. This position will be part of the FTA pool.
A current valid license is required for this role
Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
