Material Technician (3 rd Shift) | 10pm – 6:10am

We are looking for a talented Material Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Maxton, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.
Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.
Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

Education and Experience
Minimal or no work experience required.

The Materials Technician must frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Use prudent judgment and safe driving methods in forklift operations, including proper loading/unloading operations and wearing safety belt on forklift and all other required PPE.

Skills/Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Driver’s License (No driver’s license requires a vision test).
Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
Must be able to perform computer functions as required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
