We are looking for a talented Material Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Maxton, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.

  • Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

  • Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.

  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

  • Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.

  • Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

Education and Experience

  • Minimal or no work experience required.

  • Physical Demands of the Job:The physical demands representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Employee is required to stand, sit, walk, reach, use fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • The Materials Technician must frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Use prudent judgment and safe driving methods in forklift operations, including proper loading/unloading operations and wearing safety belt on forklift and all other required PPE.

  • Working Environment:

  • Warehouse environment

  • Factory type environment


  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Driver’s License (No driver’s license requires a vision test).

  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Must be able to perform computer functions as required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
