This is an exciting opportunity in North Charleston, SC for an Hourly Specialized Human Resources Technician. See the responsibilities outlined below.

§Assist the HR team in the collection, analysis and delivery of human resource data to internal and external customers.

§Support special program initiatives by tracking, auditing, and ensuring the data integrity of employee information.

§Provide departmental support to internal customers and HR Generalists.

§Providing first line of support to walk-in customers.

§Complete, analyze and deliver various scheduled reports including ADHOC reports

§Recruit new employees by posting positions, screening applications, scheduling interviews with hiring managers and facilitating the consensus meetings

§Schedule pre-employment screenings/assessments

§Coordinate focus group meetings for managers and employees

§Provide departmental support to walk in customers by providing guidance on various HR functions and benefits

§Coordinate new hire orientation

§Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager

§Ability to understand and analyze various forms of ‘raw’ data

§Support human resources initiatives with scheduling, tracking, logistics, communication and facilitation

§Working knowledge of employment law as it pertains to record keeping and reporting

§Possess advanced Excel skills and be able to not only create files but manipulate the data for various internal customers

§Possess proficient advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365 and Skype)

§Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

§Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work

§Possess active listening skills

§Ability to manage confidential/sensitive data

§Attention to detail/accuracy

§Proven commitment to quality

§Team work (internal and external customers)

§Possess ability to work across all levels of the organization (internal/external)

§Ability to work eight hours or more frequently and work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

§Previous administrative experience a must

§Experience utilizing report writing software to produce internal and external business partner requested reports on all human resources data

§High School Diploma or GED required, AS or BS preferred

§Experience with manufacturing environment a plus
