Materials Flow Team Coordinator - 2nd shift

This role has a minimum hourly rate of $22.00/hour. If you have relevant verifiable experience above and beyond the minimum requirements we are able to wage slot above this minimum rate.

Job Duties:

Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

  1. Manage all material flow activities in support of the business goals.

  2. Responsible for owning and improving material flow through the entire plant: shipping/receiving, internal material flows within assembly and machining

  3. Coordinates the work of Material handling associates within the material flow process.

  4. Develop and maintain material handler standard work, train new material handlers, and perform material handler certification process.

  5. Drive execution of designed replenishment processes, including E-Kanban, Trailer unloading, material delivery, inventory tracking, and supermarket audits and reverse logistics.

  6. Perform daily material handler start-up meeting, manage and communicate manpower changes to support production lines.

  7. Responsible for receipt/shipment accuracy of all parts delivered from 3PL warehouse and sent back through return to warehouse flow.

  8. Ensure associates are trained and training metrics are maintained.

  9. Support plant inventory accuracy goals.

  10. Manage small parts from teardown to the line.

  11. Accountable for all oracle transactions and monitoring for system accuracy

  12. Support cycle counting activities when required.

Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

Identifies and controls non-conforming material.


Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.

Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.

Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.


Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

Ensures training completion in line with business requirements.

Seeks ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and supports planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.

Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
