CRP - Machining Specialized Technician (3rd Shift)
Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Specific Responsibilities include:
-Assist in the ramp up of multiple production cells
-Participate and lead training activities
-Provide input to process improvement opportunities and coordinate projects as required
-Update documentation as needed
-Monitor Cell output, collect downtime data and work to improve throughput
Working knowledge of measuring equipment including calipers,indicators, and gauges. Familiar with basic component layout, strong understanding of quality processes. Familiar with quality systems. Familiar with 6Sigma, Lean manufacturing. PC Skills include MS Office Suite utilization.
Experience in machining with aptitude for CNC turning and grinding, working knowledge of tooling, technical drawings, general repair and maintenance. Familiar with Part print reading and basic GD & T.
Essential Job Requirements:
Ability to Lift and inspect 32 lb turbine housing. Inspection includes top,bottom, flange, and all rounded edges. Must have enough visual acuity to read small gauges and measurements.
