Exciting opportunity for a San Leandro or Irvine -based Dealer Support Representative :

Cummins Sales and Services is looking for an experienced Dealer Support Representative. The Dealer Support Representative is responsible for receipt and processing of subscription-based services throughout the Cummins Pacific Region as well as provide maintenance for the Cummins Information Systems (Quickserve Online).

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Processing inbound call and email requests for subscription-based renewals

  • Data entry of customer information into various databases

  • Train on our latest products

  • Instruct customers on the use of various subscriptions and forms

  • Perform other related duties as necessary to meet business needs

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with external and internal customers

  • Be a self-motivated, team player with the desire to work and communicate well with customers and co-workers

  • Demonstrated the ability to initiate, expedite and follow through to task completion

  • Demonstrated ability to positively react to change in environment, processes & people

  • Demonstrated ability to engage customers in a courteous and professional manner

  • Be a fast learner, good with numbers, and motivated to learn

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Suite


  • 1 - 3 years customer service experience required.

  • BMS knowledge desirable

  • Knowledge of Cummins supporting technology preferred (Insite, Quickserve Online)

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
