Expectations for the Irvine, CA -based CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE :
Cummins Sales and Service is looking for a Customer Representative to provide assistance with parts orders and general process support.
Assists customers in person, via phone, email, and faxes with parts research and ordering
Provides basic technical support for customers within published guidelines
Follows up with customers on existing orders and advanced technical requests
Assists with researching billing questions and order discrepancies
Processes credit card and check payments for orders via phone, email and fax
Provides rotating 24/7 on call support for parts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate ability to positively react to change in environment, processes & people
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel (Basic)
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One year of customer service experience
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
