SAP Program Leader

Description

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage the project management activities for assigned functional areas. Coordinates, prioritizes, negotiates, and manages the execution of all assigned projects and contracts. Leads the analysis, project identification, , budget, communication, and integration.

  • Collaborate with business management to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken; performs feasibility needs analysis to determine project timelines; manages the analysis, project identification, design, budget, communication, and integration of project plans; approves business workflow and project design; assesses business needs, Project Manager capabilities and available project budgets.

  • Assist Project Managers with project issue resolution.

  • Monitor the status of all projects on the team; monitors the team's budget; advises Project Managers on the design and development of project plans and timelines.

  • Help Project Managers assess project risk through use of quality tools; coaches Project Managers in alternatives, solutions, and change management approaches.

  • Ensure that Project Managers leverage experience of cross-functional resources and resources external to the project team; reviews project documentation.

  • Monitor project success measures and understands the status of specific projects and assignments.

  • Manage the project managers; delegates project assignments based on availability, ability, and developmental needs; provides developmental feedback to team members; coaches other Project Managers in managing teams.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Significant relevant experience, including supervisory experience, required.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Transformation with S/4 HANA global Implementations and knowledge of using AGILE or SAP ACTIVATE methodology.

  • Ability to engage at senior leadership level and influence SAP strategic direction for the organization and entities in scope, with a clear understanding on developing S/4HANA business case, architecture and deployment roadmaps, with a focus on translating business needs into SAP solutions requirements.

  • Leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders and demonstrated recent experience in managing Transformational initiatives preferably with the major consulting companies or SAP Partners.

  • Proven ability to leverage business and technical expertise related to technology architecture, design, business integration, build and lead large multi-cultural cross-location teams, manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline.

  • Fluency in coordination and facilitation of business stakeholder workshops, conference room pilots, to drive project effort as needed and to provide day-to-day management and direction to the implementation team resources, internal and external, assigned to the project.

  • Minimum three full lifecycle implementations or roll outs & support experience in S/4 HANA or SAP ECC Projects, of which one needs to cover European continent in a global rollout.

  • Ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and fluency with SAP solution configuration, in at least 3 SAP modules, like Sales and Distribution, Service and Warranty, Materials management, Production Planning and robust knowledge of SAP master data. Technical fluency in ABAP programming, UI5, Debugging would be an added plus, though not a requirement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
