This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Senior Auditor – Audit Services. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Responsible for the execution of regulatory compliance, business process, and operational audits.

  • May provide technical guidance to contracted audit staff, ensuring that objectives are met.

  • Review regulatory compliance, business process, and operating procedures to determine whether or not internal controls are being properly applied.

  • Lead or execute internal regulatory compliance, business process, and operational audits and risk assessments within established business process controls.

  • Test and document more complex processes for compliance with regulations or against best practices.

  • Report discrepancies.

  • Preparation of less complex audit plans or assists with more complex plans.Prepare formal written reports to communicate audit results to management, and make recommendations as appropriate.

  • Lead onsite audit process including contracted audit staff to perform internal audits and risk assessments within established business process controls.

Additional key responsibilities:

You will act as an internal risk consultant. This position will involve the execution of audits and consulting engagements spanning across functions, Business Units, and/or Area Business Organizations in order to evaluate risks globally. Engagements will focus on regulatory compliance, business process, and operational controls.

Qualifications

Skills

Education, Licenses, Certifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. JD preferred.

Experience

  • Intermediate relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.

  • Background in law, compliance, or risk management desirable.

  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • High attention to detail and strong documentation and analytical abilities.

Up to 25% travel

Extensive international travel may be required.
