This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for an IT Audit Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Responsible for the creation and execution of the IT portion of the annual Internal Audit Plan.

  • The position requires considerable poise and professional judgment, as the audits are global in nature and are typically cross-business unit / cross-functional. Planning and reporting requires regular communication with members of the IT Senior Leadership team.

  • This individual will assemble and manage a team of direct line Cummins employees as well as outside vendors who provide supplemental subject matter expertise on audits.

  • This individual must be able to navigate complex situations and derive meaningful insights from audit results. The ability to communicate risk clearly and concisely and make practical recommendations tailored to the maturity curve of the organization will be critical for success.

  • Provides technical consultation and advice on compliance related matters to senior levels of management including the IT senior leadership team (CIO and team)

  • Drafts issue briefings for the CMI Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

  • Collaborates with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) / Corporate Strategy on corrective action and mitigation efforts.

Experience

This individual must be able to navigate complex situations and derive meaningful insights from audit results. The ability to communicate risk clearly and concisely and make practical recommendations tailored to the maturity curve of the organization will be critical for success.

A degree or significant work experience in Information Technology is required. Information Systems Audit or Security certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP) are strongly preferred.

Travel of up to 15% may be required.

Ideal location is Indianapolis or Columbus, but will consider alternative locations.
