This is an exciting opportunity for an Executive Administrative Assistant supporting Executive Management for our North America Distribution business. This position located at our Distribution Headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages documents and prepares analyses related to assigned administrative duties and office support activities for team, department, functional leader, or organizational leader.

  • Reads and sorts all email for manager, identifying the most business critical/urgent mail to ensure action is taken in a timely manner.

  • Manages all aspects of manager's calendar, including scheduling meetings and travel, as well as accepting/declining meetings on managers behalf

  • Plans and books travel for manager and completes expense reports in a timely manner

  • Stays highly organized and has a system for keeping track of many different request, receipts, and emails to ensure deadlines are met and responses for questions and requests

  • Occasionally sends communications or replies to email on manager's behalf

  • Plays a large role in organizing and providing on-site facilitation of both small and large scale staff meetings, banquets, and events

  • Occasionally assists with preparing legal documentation for manager's signature

  • Interacts effectively with all levels of employees throughout the company; works with executive's staff to ensure that business decisions are made in a timely fashion while balancing the executive's other responsibilities and commitments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

  • Four year experience/education requirement accomplished through one of the following:

Bachelor's degree, Associates degree, and at least two years of relevant experience, or at least four years of relevant experienced required

-Work collaboratively with other employees across the function to plan meetings, events, and to problem-solve conflicts in a respectful manner

  • Excellent time management skills; prioritizing manager's time with the need of the business

  • Good PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel Skills are essential

  • Interacts effectively with all levels of employees throughout the company; works with executive staff to ensure that business decisions are made in a timely fashion while balancing the executive's other responsibilities and commitments

  • Understands the business etiquette; interacts and works successfully with senior leaders of Cummins' customers and suppliers to ensure that customer needs and addressed while balancing an executive's other responsibilities and commitments

  • Develops an understanding of the executive's work style and preferences; assumes responsibilities as requested by the executive

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary commensurate with experience.
