We are seeking a Director to lead the Customer Support and E-Commerce teams in the North America Distribution Business Unit (NA-DBU) Sales and Service Organization. This leader will have a focused mindset and skills to drive strategy, growth, innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness for this 400 person organization. The role requires very close interaction and coordination with the leadership of NA-DBU product and service segments as well as with customer support and e-commerce colleagues throughout Cummins. This is a geographically-distributed leadership team and the Director Customer Support CSSNA can be located anywhere in North America.

  • Drives the establishment of objectives, plans, standards, risk identification, and policies ensuring successful implementation of all phases of program management

  • Partners with business executives to identify short and long-term projects plans; develops and maintains strong relationships across the organization

  • Drives the establishment of objectives, plans, standards, risk identification, and policies ensuring successful implementation of all phases of program management; determines project timelines; oversees analysis, program design, budget, communication, and integration; approves business workflow and program design

  • Directs and assesses Project Manager capabilities and available program budgets.

  • Keeps business leadership apprised of program status and developments; monitors project success measures and understands the status of specific projects and assignments

  • Formulates annual operational and financial budgets as they relate to unit objectives.

  • Develops, leads, and motivates project management staff; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning

  • Laser focus on our leadership behaviors, general business acumen and a willingness to think and act transformatively

Education and Additional Experience

  • 15 years of account management or customer support experience

  • Experience launching an e-Commerce platform or overseeing a technology growth initiative preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Base annual salary commensurate with experience plus annual variable compensation.
