Corporate Counsel - Litigation (remote option)
We are looking for a talented Corporate Counsel – Litigation . This role is in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the possibility of remote work.
In this role, you will:
Actively manage and supervise large and/or complex cases, disputes, and matters in the U.S. and internationally involving product liability, warranty, and complex commercial issues.
Develop and execute legal strategies to address complex legal, regulatory, and business risks.
Be responsible for project and matter management with limited supervision, and you will exercise sound, independent judgment.
Lead and support project-improvement activities and tasks in both the Legal Function and within the business units.
Serve as a trusted advisor to management on legal issues; have a strong grasp of the business environment and objectives; effectively partner with clients to identify and design needed improvements; provide legal as well as practical advice within the appropriate business context; understand and manage stakeholder expectations.
Advise management and other attorneys on recent or prospective changes in laws and regulations.
Instruct and supervise outside counsel and consultants as needed and manages legal spend within budget expectations.
Effectively influence and maintain open, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, Legal Function colleagues, and outside counsel.
Supervise and/or mentor one or more junior lawyers, paralegals, or administrative assistants.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Excellent academic credentials.
Licensed to practice law in Indiana or other U.S. state.
At least 6 years of experience successfully litigating products liability and complex commercial disputes at a top-tier law firm or in-house is required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
