Customer Service Representative

Description

To assist customers by coordinating in shop engine service work, opening and processing work orders and invoices, scheduling, ensuring availability of parts and verification/documentation of warranties

  • Opening, quoting and invoicing work orders.

  • Responsible for keeping the customers and service group notified of the status of the repair.

  • Assign repairs to technicians and supervise the repair process.

  • File and update warranty claims. Work with the service group to achieve service department goals.

  • Work with service writer to set repair schedules.

  • Work to assure the repair process is followed on every repair.

  • Ensure excellent communication between internal and external customers.

  • Assist in review/hiring process of technicians

  • Review technician productivity – Work Order Specific

  • Assist Parts Dept with warranty material inventory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school degree required.

  • 3-5 years experience with auto or diesel products (mechanical and electronic engines), Cummins product experience preferred but not necessary

  • Computer experience required - Ability to use e-mails programs and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of warranty policies and procedures.

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
