We are looking for a talented Power Generation Markets Supply Chain Integrator to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Power Systems Business Segment based out of Minneapolis, MN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met from end to end in each of the supply chains.

  • Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain.Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems.

  • Support Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead the cross Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment.

  • Mitigate long term supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders.

  • Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.

  • Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets.

  • Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators.

  • Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans.

  • Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate.

  • Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense resources, and capital.

  • Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

  • Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.

  • Materials Planning Parameters - Aligns parameters (minimum order quantity, multiple order quantity, lead time, part cost, etc.) to balance the supply and demand plans while stabilizing the supply chain; runs changes to parameter settings in the planning environment and analyzes the impact to customer delivery and inventory.

  • Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • B.S or BA in applicable field, MBA preferred.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Significant level of relevant work experience required.

  • Representing Supply Chain (SC) on the America’s Super Region staff.

  • 1st escalation point for the super region.

  • Ensure the Line of Business needs and SC requirements are clear, well understood and enabled cross functionally.

  • Accountable for PGM Customer Order Management (COM) function with a dotted line relationship to enable regional/customer segmentation growth.

  • Articulating/Participating in the development of LOB growth strategy and translating it to a SC actionable plan.

  • Responsible for PGM VPI SC working cross functionally within SC as needed.

  • Have ownership of FG/Order Risk process to ensure we meet our financial targets within the order life cycle.

  • Have full ownership of the order life cycle within PSBU including lead time needed to market.

  • Represent SC in the PGM demand review/IO with ownership to present and take on escalations to SCR.

  • Partnering with SC and PGM on all their needs and working cross functionally as needed

  • Accountable for functional excellence work across the COM and Supply Chain Integrator functions.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $112,000 - $168,000 Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
