Cummins-Meritor is looking for a creative and self-motivated person to fulfill the School to Work – Marketing role in their aftermarket team in Florence, KY during their Fall semester. The Marketing Co-op will work closely with the aftermarket Product Marketing Manager to support daily activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization. The role involves providing administrative support, handling special assignments, and assisting in the development and maintenance of marketing-related materials. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience through projects aligned with future career aspirations, under the mentorship of the Sr. Product Marketing Manager.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Assist the marketing team with administering promotional programs.
Support digital marketing activities including eblasts and marketing automation initiatives (Salesforce/Pardot).
Aid in the development of product marketing content such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other collateral.
Fulfill various marketing requests from the sales team and customers.
Coordinate materials and marketing collateral for tradeshows and customer events.
Track and report on marketing budgets and open projects.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Basic understanding of and/or interest in working with HTML.
Experience with graphic design programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience

Previous experience with marketing or ability to elaborate on relevant marketing coursework
Student must have the ability to work a minimum of 24 hours/week during the duration of the Co-op.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
