We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Power Systems in Elkhart, Indiana, US.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Performing order management tasks for a specific set of customers/accounts; has responsibility for the entire order life cycle (order entry, order modification, invoicing, credits/debits, logistics documentation)
Providing consultative, order life cycle support information to customers (lead time, availability, minor technical support, and policy), making recommendations and providing guidance
Acting as single-point-of-contact to the customer for order inquiries and escalations; Manage escalations to closure
Supporting Mobile Power Business Unit with effective management of recreational vehicles and Commercial Vehicle/ Owner Equipment manufacturers, predominantly located within the Elkhart area, with the supply of generator products and accessories.
Being an effective customer account manager to be the single point of contact for our customer/distributor/owner equipment manufacturer and intercompany plants, to provide order life cycle responses pertaining to order receipt, lead time quotes, scheduling of orders support, providing order status updates, logistics/shipping support, order board prioritizations, finished goods, support stock availability and utilizing our Global Distributor Policy.
Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through effective communication which builds trust/confidence in managing orders and the power systems business.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
0-2 years customer order management; customer-facing; supply chain/logistics; international trade experience preferred
A Proactive approach to customer support; interactions are required at each phase of the order life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
Order Life Cycle Systems Knowledge - Demonstrates the steps within each system screen to process customer orders, order modifications and respond to customer queries to ensure accurate and timely order processing and query resolution.
Strong customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Order processing skills with the ability to demonstrate the steps necessary to manage the processing of customer orders through order receipt, exception identification and resolution to ensure orders are fulfilled to customer requirements
Effective multi-mode communication skills that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
