Description

Serves as a pipeline for future Cummins career opportunities, and:

  • Demonstrates confidentiality as required

  • Supports an area through a combination of technical duties, (which may include hands on work) data management, project management, etc.

  • Learns Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follows documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance

  • Assists in cleaning, disassembling and other basic workshop activities

  • Demonstrates how to use and apply tools correctly to perform tasks

  • Learns to work in a team environment and the importance of working effectively with others

  • Learns and develops problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Utilizes effective written and oral communications

  • Performs duties in a diverse climate (e.g., diverse cultures, ideas, and methods)

  • Takes responsibility for all assignments and duties

  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn from others

  • Displays a work ethic consistent with Cummins values

  • Interfaces and communicates with internal and external customers; directs people to the appropriate resources; interacts effectively with all levels of employees throughout the company

  • Understands and applies appropriate company and department rules and guidelines to work

  • Performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done
