Power Generation Administrative Assistant

Description

Provide support for the Vice President and Power Generation Department.

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and manage Outlook Calendars for VP and Managers

  • Book travel for the department through Concur; Manage expense reports for VP and self in Concur

  • Compile monthly financial reports for business leaders using Bolt

  • Assist and be a part of the local CIT team as well as track department CIT completion

  • Purchase all office supplies and merchandise for the department and approve invoices in Telamon

  • Provide backup for payroll hours and processing when needed

  • Create PowerPoint presentations for department needs, including but not limited to department staff meetings, quarterly sales meetings, department communication announcements

  • Manage all meetings for the department, order catering and oversee meeting logistics

  • Track Vacation, PTO and Floating Holiday balances; track birthdays and anniversaries

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED or relevant experience for the position

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook and BMS

  • Must align with Cummins Core Values, and a drive to exceed expectations

  • Must comply with safety rules and regulations and apply them to daily work routines for personal safety and the safety of others
