Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Direct andoversee cross-functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiencywithin Parts Distribution Center operations or warehouse, providing excellentproduct availability and service to Distributors, Aftermarket customers, andinternal stakeholders.
Oversee thedevelopment of logistics plans and procedures to ensure internal and clientneeds are met using inventory management, Materials Requirements Planning(MRP), warehousing and material flow principles.
Responsible fordelivering plan performance, and developing and improving Key PerformanceIndicators (KPI's).
Overseedevelopment and execution of business strategies with staff members responsiblefor Global Materials, Transportation, Logistics Improvement & DataIntegration functions.
Direct supplychain functional excellence initiatives between PDCs and distributors byperforming Warehouse Operations Management (outbound, inbound, and inventorycontrol).
Coordinate keybusiness support activities required to operate facilities effectively.
Manage CapitalInvestment requirements (PPE & IT) to support business plans.
Prepare andmanage an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including expense, resources, and capitalto meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
Responsible forensuring company values are present in the plant, by championing diversity,leading community involvement, and complying with and regulations.
Manage anddevelop supply chain capability by working with employees to set goals intraining and development, performance, and career planning.
Mentor and coachteam to develop supply chain capability across the organization.
Championcontinuous improvement projects that align with COS and Cross-Functional Excellenceby leveraging common processes, tools and information systems and applyingprinciples of Six Sigma methodologies, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban and ValueStream Mapping.
Ensure supplychains, intra-company and intercompany, meet all customer and businessrequirements.
Align withinternal business partners to garner support and advocacy of enterprise SupplyChain initiatives.
Review KeyPerformance Indicators and operational trends to validate root cause analysisand corrective action plans.
Set the aim forthe organization and ensure individual work plans are consistent with supplychain initiatives.
Skillsand Experience Required:
MaterialsRequirements Planning (MRP), logistics, and warehousing and material flowprinciples
DevelopKey Performance Indicators (KPI's)
WarehouseOperations Management (outbound, inbound, and inventory control)
AnnualOperating Plan (AOP)
Managesupply chain initiatives

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics,Business or Operations or related field and four years of experience as a Shift, Operations, Supply Chain orMaterials Manager, or related position .
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in IndustrialEngineering, Logistics, Business or Operations or related field and six yearsof experience as a Shift, Operations, Supply Chain or Materials Manager, orrelated position . JOB SITE: Dallas, TX
WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm] – This usually always stays the same.

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
