Maintenance Engineer - Senior


We are looking for a talented Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Cookeville, TN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • This person will be responsible for overseeing production lines, installation & design of new equipment, and making improvements to existing equipment

  • Will have a strong eye for detail and be thorough in their documentation in all aspect encompassed within responsibilities of the role

  • Will be able to work and collaborate with members of many different teams both internally to Cummins and externally, including suppliers

  • Be able to provide suggestions and improvements to help to increase overall efficiency of maintenance procedures

  • Will have insight into and be able to make suggestions for improvements to equipment within the plant

  • Will have a high level of knowledge of Controls Systems, and the maintenance of those systems within a plant


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • 1 University or college degree in related field is preferred

  • 2 Must have at least 5 years of relative Maintenance Engineering or comparable experience

  • 3 Ideal candidate would have at least 3 years Control Systems experience

  • 4 University or college degree in related field is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
