US and Canada C&C Emissions Certification Lead

Description

We are looking for a talented US and Canada C&C Emissions Certification Lead to join our team specializing in Environmental Compliance for our Technical Certification and Compliance Department in Columbus, IN / home office. (Hybrid)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Understand regulatory requirements and their impact on products and processes.

  • Supports, facilitates, and abides by the Product Compliance Regulatory Affairs New Product Introduction Regulatory Corridor Compliance Process

  • Serve the Current Product Support and New Product Into. System Performance Integration Teams as the primary source of knowledge / guidance on emissions certification topics.

  • Responsible to work with Product Development & Government Agencies to obtain product annual certifications.

  • Expected to identify product Cert & Compliance gaps, bring awareness and influence cross-functional engineering teams to implement solutions that fulfil regulatory requirements.

  • Work with System Performance Integration teams to plan emissions certification activities and schedule.

  • Assist the New Product Introduction - Cert / pre-cert, Degradation Factor, IRAF, Design Review coverage.

  • Auxiliary Emission Control Device guidance (product and documentation)

  • Champion for resolution of emissions compliance (e.g. Audit Management Council)

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

  • 5 or more years of experience in environmental compliance/engineering processes

  • Prior experience with emissions certification activities/processes

  • Strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
