Supplier MDM Business Analyst
Description
Partners with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions; works with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the information systems.
Leads the effort, in conjunction with the business to define and document what constitutes business success for large or complex initiatives within a single organization. May work as part of a team on project definition and documentation for initiatives that cross organizations.
Leads a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the complex initiative.
Elicits, analyzes, and documents non-functional business requirements
Leads and conducts requirements management activities, as necessary. Seeks out and analyzes information regarding the impact of changes within an organization or between organizations, ensuring that the effects of changes are well understood and approved by all of the appropriate stakeholders.
Leads and conducts solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization or across organizations
Reviews test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization or across organizations
Conducts complex problem analysis and resolution as needed. Acts as a point of escalation for complex, non-routine problems.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with both business leaders and other functions involved in downstream technical processes
Coaches and mentors less experienced business analysts

Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Significant relevant experience required. 5-7 years of experience.
The Supplier MDM entry point and single source of supplier creation and maintenance process for CMI. Supplier MDM is centrally governed, and it distributes harmonized, cleansed, standardized and consolidated supplier data to consuming systems across CMI. The Supplier Data hub is single source of truth for supplier data and is key enabler for various Supply Chain end-to-end process value streams as well as analytics globally across the enterprise.
This role would be responsible for leading the business process and functional analysis work for Supplier MDM projects:
Good functional knowledge of supplier MDM domain and supplier master attributes with respect to procure-to-pay business processes.
Master data management experience, Lead, establish & execute holistic testing strategy and content
Work with domain leader and program stakeholders to execute roadmap
Coordinates and participates in requirements gathering workshops, functional designs and to-be process
Educate cross BU and functional stakeholders on MDM capabilities and benefits and Informatica 360 best practices
Perform feasibility analysis of business process requirements against Informatica 360
Creates and executes action plans to resolve data issues for MDM processes
Works closely with IT to manage end to end MDM data functions, data quality team to conduct data profiling, rules, KPIs and analysis
Serves as an active member on a Tactical Data Governance Council, supporting business data analysis as well as proposal creation for MDM owned attributes to manage data glossary and metadata
Support training content creation, delivery, effective change management and communication strategy
Experience and understand of MDM data quality will be added advantage.
Additional skills: Informatica MDM, Informatica Supplier 360, Informatica Data Quality knowledge and experience.
