We are looking for a talented Senior Transport Analyst to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Transportation department in Columbus, Indiana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide transportation analysis to drive process and cost improvements for EBU manufacturing sites and customers

  • Make operational performance and trends visible. Use data to problem identify and eliminate transportation waste - delays, empty miles, poor OTD, expedites and diversions.

  • Working with 3PL transportation partners to champion and deliver improvement projects, resolve operational issues, and engage with cross functional teams at sites

  • Develop logistics analytics to make operational performance and trends visible.

  • Lead and participate in six sigma and supply chain improvement projects

  • Use common processes tools, and information systems to enable supply chain analysis.

Qualifications

To be successfull in this role you will require:

  • 3 years’ experience within Supply Chain and the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery

  • Project Management experience with the proven ability to establish and maintain the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").

  • 3 plus years Warehouse Operations experience with skills Utilizing warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.

  • Work process optimizations skills - knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement .

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
