SOURCING SPECIALIST - SENIOR - KITTING AND AFTERMARKET INCLUSION

We are looking for a talented Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate - Supply Chain department. This role is based in Columbus, IN and will offer a hybrid schedule with onsite work as needed.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide sourcing specialist support to kitting category by tracking the quarterly price changes from external kitting suppliers, making sure those are aligned to tier II supplier price adjustments

  • Support the execution of critical projects related to external supplier kits, such as kits outsourcing, kits end of life management, increase in kitting diverse spend, etc.

  • Lead or represents sourcing in low business impact projects related to kitting, with minimum global engagement.

  • Provide sourcing specialist support to Aftermarket Inclusion Strategy by conducting evaluation of contracts for Aftermarket compliance and provides significant input to the Sourcing Manager

  • Gather relevant data, such as spend and aftermarket revenues and margins, and uses it to support the Sourcing Manager in contract negotiations with strategic suppliers

  • Support the definition of critical aftermarket requirements to include in supplier agreements

  • Track the progress in the implementation of Aftermarket Inclusion initiatives, and provide support for Aftermarket inclusion across regions

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • College, university, or equivalent to Bachelors’ Degree in field appropriate for the function of this role along with 2 to 4 years minimum of applicable experience

  • Experience with ERPs such as Oracle or SAP, and familiarity with purchasing systems in general

  • Strong experience with purchasing and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders

  • Experience executing sourcing tactics of varying complexity reflecting the optimum cost, quality, delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
