This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for a Senior Treasury Analyst. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Manage the NorthAmerican (US) cash forecast model. Coordinate with stakeholders forrequired inputs and dissemination of forecast results. Leverage knowledgeof US forecast to assist other regions in the development of their respectiveforecasts.

  • Use forecast to driveshort term liquidity decisions around investment of cash and borrowing viaCommercial Paper.

  • Complete monthly,quarterly and yearly forecast activities related to Treasury Operations.These activities include Interest Income, Interest Expense and Bank fees.Scope of forecast is global. Forecasting includes participation in AOPand Simulation exercises.

  • Participate in planningand execution of cash repatriation from Rest of the World (ROW) to US.

  • Understand FIS IntegrityTreasury Workstation functionality to provide support and assistance to CashSpecialists including back up as needed, troubleshooting transactions andprocess improvement.

  • Work with crossfunctional areas including other Treasury teams, Corporate Accounting,Corporate Tax, Cummins Business Services and Cummins entities.

  • Lead Treasury relatedimprovement projects.

  • Prepares complex financial analyses andreports for department management.

  • Prepares analyses, reports, and specialstudies for management.

  • Works with assigned organizationalunit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing, forecasts, and statistical reporting.

  • Prepares statistical reporting,including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.

  • Coachesless-experienced Financial Analysts.


Education,Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.

Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or

similar certification preferred.


3 - 5 of relevant professional work experience in Treasury required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
