We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team specializing in Finance for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Columbus, IN/and your home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide financial analysis, monthly and quarterly reporting, and insight into variance analysis for all Cummins Global Logistic function/locations

  • Act as the business partner for planning function within GPL (Cummins Global Planning and Logistic)

  • Independently manage the consolidation of the annual operating plan and forecast for P&L, inventory, and capital and upload into reporting system (Essbase)

  • Focus on continuously improving PFR (planning, forecasting, and reporting) processes and capabilities through innovation and automation

  • Partner with the Global Controllers to apply consistent accounting practices and with business on key projects and provide financial support in building analyzing project financials

  • Manage complexity: work with complex, extensive, and conflicting information/data to solve problems

  • Support global stakeholders and communicate effectively to senior business leaders

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required

  • Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
