North America Warehousing and Transportation Operations - Executive Director (Offsite)
We are looking for a talented North America Warehousing & Transportation Executive Director to join our team specializing Logistics for Cummins Corporate Business Segment which is based in Columbus, Indiana. This role is designated Offsite and can be performed from your home office with up to 25% travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provides dynamic leadership, management, and strategic direction of a major business enterprise that crosses multiple business units and functional areas.
Partners with business executives to identify short and long-term program plans; develops and maintains strong relationships across the organization.
Drives the establishment of objectives, plans, standards, risk identification, and policies ensuring successful day-to-day and long-term operations of logistic function
Formulates annual operational and financial budgets as they relate to unit objectives.
Develops, leads, and motivates logistics staff; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
Plays a consultative role in development of global logistics strategies which may have significant impact on unit responsibilities.
Keeps Business leadership apprised of ongoing operational performance and key developments including identifying risks and leading the development of mitigation plans to control risks.
Anticipate, recognize, facilitate, and coordinate the resolution of cross-functional supply chain challenges impacting business unit and or Customer
Initiate and influence relationships with key stakeholders involved in the management and implementation of supply chain strategy(s)
Champions an analytical, data centric culture, driving competitive advantages through speed, scale, and agility
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Advanced MBA/MSA degree in business management, supply chain or related field is required
Deep technical knowledge in logistics and supply chain functional excellence required
8-10 years cross business unit experience in a highly complex, matrix organization required
APICS certification highly desired
PMP or CCMP certification highly desired
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $180K-240K. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
