New Product Reliability Manager
Description
We are looking for a talented New Product Reliability Manager to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Engine Business Unit in Columbus, IN / your remote home location within the US. As the Engine Business Unit is embarking on fuel agnostic strategy for the next few years, the quality and reliability of new product introduction will be one of the key drivers for EBU success. This position offers an opportunity to be part of the journey.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead and manage reliability engineers that support Class 1 and 2 VPI programs. This critical leadership role has a direct influence on EBU new product reliability engineering function and strategy globally.
Shape the long-term strategy of EBU new product reliability function and ensure the success of the function globally, across different regions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
Prior Technical Specialist/Specialist Engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required.
Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving, quality decision making and providing technical direction and leadership to a project team(s).
Solid understanding of product risk management, product problem solving and an understanding of product validation, verification, and assessment.
Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
