We are looking for a talented Material Planning Manager to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our New Power Business in Columbus, IN / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

To plan and maintain daily supply chain operations for critical suppliers or customers in materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, or order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

Achieving and continuously improving customer service levels, and/or manage inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Supply Chain.

Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

Manage the daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain.

Eliminate potential supply chain failures as part of the daily planning process.

Champion preventive practices to eliminate expediting to supply chain leadership as appropriate to prevent problems.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

B.S or B.A in applicable field

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Exciting opportunity to join NPBU. This position will be based in Columbus and manage a team of 4 direct and indirect Material planners. We are looking for a proactive candidate who enjoys problem solving, complex challenges and working in a fast pace environment.

This position in a KEY role within the Planning & Logistics team and is responsible for:

  • Manage Supply vs. Demand - analyzing both short term (0 - 12 wks) and long term (3 -12 months) time-frame

  • Manage supplier communication - escalations (resolving issues)

  • Inventory optimization (minimize E&O)

  • Support Service planning strategy and be the POC between NRP and EPBU planning

  • Ensure we keep right stocking levels to meet delivery targets for both direct & indirect materials

  • Manage and develop a team of 4 planners

  • Ensure risks are communicated to key stakeholder ahead of time (Plant Ops Leadership teams)

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
