This is an exciting opportunity for Information and Knowledge Management Technical Advisor #IN771 in Columbus, Indiana
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
Investigate technical information and knowledge based infrastructure opportunities and challenges; understand causal mechanisms, recommend appropriate action, own problem resolution and document results.
Architect, design and/or provide support of information processes including Supply Chain capabilities and Regional support readiness, change management and data repositories such as technical information libraries, all required to meet the needs of practitioners within the technical function .
Obtain input and negotiate with a broad variety of technical practitioners to deliver new and revised processes and tools that advance the capability of the function and its ability to deliver high quality drawings and specifications.
Establish and maintain Project Management “Balanced Triangle” of Scope, Schedule and Resources for projects specific to the service organization across all swim lanes such as Product Continuous Improvement, Customer Engineering, Regional Support, Service Platform, Corporate Shared Services and Uptime.
Manage complexity and ambiguity with business insight and financial acumen to create and modify standardized work processes, instructions or tasks utilizing shared services tools, information, and training gained as part of product development, process improvement or other technical development activities to make decisions, plan and implement new and revised processes work instructions, software and/or computing solutions that improve the technical quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness of the technical function.
Use Requirements Analysis to evaluate the relationship and interdependencies between requirements based on their complexity and value to the business in order to determine feasibility and prioritization.
Provide problem resolution leadership for troubleshooting complex systems with a high degree of ambiguity and often global business impact by diagnosing and resolving user-identified issues by utilizing appropriate department standards to satisfy user expectations.
Utilize knowledge of service issue management to maintain a functional project hopper with appropriate prioritization based on the level of importance to the issue and to drive appropriate and timely resolution and approval of changes to the Customer Support Organization .
Lead the development and improvement of work processes and systems optimization across functions within Corporate Customer and Service Engineering.
Assess proposed solutions using the requirements traceability through the life cycle to determine if the desired business outcome is delivered.
Utilize knowledge of Supply Chain Management in conjunction with customer service to align product, demand and supply by working with international cross-functional teams to help drive continuous improvements in processes within the EBU service organization.
Serve as link between demand and supply to improve customer service utilizing materials planning, transportation and purchasing skills.
Skills and Experience Required:

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Positions require aMaster’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fieldand 3years of experience as a Project Manager, Sourcing Analyst or related field.
Alternatively, the employer will accept aBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field and 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Sourcing Analyst or related field.

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus.
